sUAS have opened a unique and cost effective window into aerial image capture.  Everything from real estate advertising to construction projects can be enhanced by imagery from sUAS for a reasonable cost.  Its not just about the pictures.  Using photogrammetry techniques, at Castle Hill Geospatial we will provide you with orthorectified aerial imagery, project progress analysis, and 3D models of your site or project depending on your business needs.

It depends.  The size of the site will determine how long the imaging mission will take.  Most projects can be imaged within a day, depending on the weather.  For safety, most imaging is done on non-workdays to prevent flying over people and vehicles.  The finished product is processed and delivered usually within two weeks.

The short answer is: maybe.  We serve Virgina, Maryland, DC, and Delaware.  However, the airspace around Washington, DC is tricky.  The FAA has instituted a Flight Restricted Zone (FRZ) around Washingon.  We can request a waiver from the FAA to conduct missions in Washington, DC, as well as portions of Fairfax and Prince William Counties in Virginia, and Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties in Maryland.  However, there is no guarantee that the waiver will be granted - but it never hurts to ask.
