Welcome to Castle Hill Creations!  Geography is my passion, but I enjoy making things too.  What's better than combining a love of maps with creating custom items for your home?  After a family trip to Florida, I was inspired by the island of Key West.  Returning home I began to tinker with a custom map of Key West and a laser cutter/engraver.  The result is a series of Key West inspired bamboo cutting boards, slate charcuterie trays, and slate coasters that can be assembled like a puzzle to create the map of Key West.

I design and create all of the maps myself and cut, assemble, and finish each item by hand or with the help of a laser or 3D printer.  I use natural materials as much as possible, but that also means that the finish, grain, or colors can vary slightly from one item to another.
